Two QR codes time your visitors, generate a public ranking, and build community around your park.

What you get

Three reasons to partner

We install (or you install) two QR codes per trail. Your visitors time themselves with their phone, with nothing to download.

Minimal infrastructure

Metal QR plates or low-cost signage. No RFID gates, chips, or sensors. Fast rollout in public parks, private parks, or protected areas.

More visits and return trips

Rankings and challenges motivate people to come back and beat their time. Accessible, free sport for residents, aligned with public health and the SDGs.

Real usage data

Know how many attempts each route gets, when the trail is used, and how the community grows — information traditional signage cannot deliver.

Key difference

Why QR instead of a tracking app

We track the route, not the user. That dramatically lowers the adoption barrier for your visitors.

A tracking app (Strava, etc.)

  • The visitor must install the app before they arrive
  • Needs an account, password, and GPS permissions
  • The ranking depends on GPS accuracy for each person
  • You do not control what is measured or who measures what
  • Your park does not feature — it is just another Segment among many

Vestigio (physical QR)

  • Your visitor just scans — nothing to download
  • Identified by email, no password
  • The timer is triggered by the physical QR — a fair, verifiable ranking
  • You define the routes, their names, and disciplines
  • Your park is the owner of the public ranking

QR means a lower adoption barrier for the visitor — and that translates directly into more real use.

Commercial model

Revenue share, not a fee

Vestigio is a partner, not a vendor

Free for the park

Vestigio is free for the park. When revenue is generated on your trails we want you to be a partner, not a customer: we share the revenue with you.

Where does the revenue come from?

Recommendations contextual to outdoor brands (footwear, nutrition, gear) shown to athletes at peak purchase intent — when they finish their effort or check that route's ranking. Brands pay a commission per acquisition (CPA / affiliate marketing).

What do you receive?

An agreed percentage of commissions attributable to traffic and conversions generated on your routes. More trail use means more conversion opportunities and more shared revenue for conservation, maintenance, and new signage.

We charge the park nothing: no installation, no licenses, no maintenance.
The visitor still uses Vestigio for free; the park does not charge extra admission for timing.
No intrusive ads: useful solutions tied to the terrain and real performance.
Revenue share is defined in an agreement by routes, traffic, and commercial partnerships — transparent and measurable.
Important: we only share revenue when affiliate commissions are actually generated on your routes. If there is no revenue yet, there is nothing to split — and nothing to pay.

Experience

For your visitors

Your users do not need complex training. The flow is the same as on any Vestigio route:

  1. 1 They scan the start QR with their phone.
  2. 2 They choose a discipline, start the timer, and cover the trail.
  3. 3 They scan the finish QR and see their time on the public ranking.

Community

A community around your park

Each route builds its own community: : athletes who recognize each other, follow each other, and come back to compete. Your park stops being anonymous and becomes their place.

Athletes who recognize each other

The public ranking shows each participant's alias, profile, and Instagram. Regulars identify each other, share tips, and form spontaneous groups around the trail.

A growing local scene

People who live nearby become regulars and bring friends to try the route. The park becomes a sporting meeting point, not just a place to pass through.

Organic reach

Athletes share their times and rankings on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Strava. Your park appears in stories and posts without you paying for ads.

Implementation

In your park, in a few steps

A simple process, with no construction or cabling.

1

Agreement and routes

We define trails, start/finish points, disciplines, and park branding on the platform.

2

QR installation

Plates or signs placed on site. Low cost and weather-resistant.

3

Live and measurable

Public ranking, usage stats, and — when applicable — activation of revenue-share partnerships.

More options

Other ways to collaborate

Beyond affiliate revenue share, we can explore for your park:

Sponsored routes and challenges

Outdoor brands fund visibility on iconic routes; part of the revenue can be shared with the park.

Ranking on your website

Embed the Vestigio ranking on the park website to increase traffic and engagement.

Timed events

One-off races or challenges with no chips or sensors — just Vestigio QR.

Dashboards and reports

Participation metrics to inform land-management decisions.
